Greer Lundquist describes the 1000-square-foot townhome she’s owned for two years as a “single-girl city-living paradise! My two-story, one-bedroom plus den townhome-style condo is sandwiched between the popular Seattle neighborhoods of Fremont and Queen Anne. I enjoy sweeping views of the Ship Canal and am steps away from Seattle’s best coffee spots and cafes.”

Greer painted the small and incredibly cute mini mural of a hand and the word "fika."

“I am a graphic designer and have filled my home with artful, meaningful pieces that inspire my work. Much of my decor comes from local artists; things I have collected in my travels and things I have created myself,” Greer continues. “I am so proud to be living on my own (well, I do have a furry companion) in such a cool corner of the world, and my home reflects my journey and unique style.”

“Small spaces have to be highly functional, so many of my decorative objects do double duty. I am an avid cook, baker, and crafter. One of my favorite collections are the fermentation crocks that my ceramics teacher made that sit on my kitchen island. I use them all the time to make sauerkraut and kimchi and they look beautiful,” Greer writes.

"This is my office space in the lofted den area of my home." Greer's done a bit of work in her home; she painted her "boring" office bookcase a lovely shade of green.

“Fill your home with things that are meaningful to you, and you will always feel cozy,” Greer advises. “Don’t buy random items from big-box stores just for the sake of filling space. Let the decor come to you; it will be worth the wait (and easier on the pocketbook and environment).”

Thanks, Greer!
