Whether I’m setting out pumpkin-shaped pillows for Halloween or garlands for Christmas, holiday decorating is something I always look forward to. In fact, I’m of the opinion that there’s no such thing as getting your holiday decor out too early. Even the smallest of festive items — which is pretty much the only size that my tiny studio allows for — make me happier once they’re on display in my space. So why not get started a month (or more) in advance?

If I had to pick a favorite holiday based on aesthetics, Valentine’s Day would be the winner. Lace, pink, hearts, and bows — I can’t get enough. Honestly, it’s not that far off from my everyday style, so I don’t even have to do all that much to get my space ready for the holiday. With how trendy the “coquette” look is right now, most Valentine’s Day decor works year-round — which is especially ideal for a cramped studio like mine. I don’t have to worry about storing it away!

When I was scrolling through TikTok recently, I discovered that Marshalls has already put out its Valentine’s Day collection — and like so many other commenters on the viral video above, I’m all for it. I took a look at all of the brand’s items for the holiday, and I found the most gorgeous heart-printed quilt. At only $50, it’s bound to sell out before long, so here’s why it’s worth grabbing ASAP.

What Is the Cupcakes & Cashmere Cotton Heart Quilt Set?

Whether you’ve adopted the coquette decor style like me or are simply looking to add a festive touch to your space, Cupcakes & Cashmere’s pink-and-white set is an essential for the season. Not only does the set include the blanket — which comes in twin and full/queen sizes — but it also includes standard-sized shams. The quilt has a 100% cotton exterior and a fill that’s 80% cotton and 20% polyester, so it’ll be a breathable layer on your bed. As for care, the pieces are all machine-washable, so maintenance requires hardly any effort.

Why You’ll Love the Cupcakes & Cashmere Cotton Heart Quilt Set

Even if Valentine’s Day wasn’t on the horizon, I would snag this quilt for my bed anyway. The tiny embroidered hearts are so cute, with each one connected by pink diamond stitching. A quilt is one of the easiest ways to make a room festive because, unlike most decor, you don’t have to carve out any extra space for it. On top of your comforter, it’ll act as a layer to make your bed extra warm and cozy for the winter, and when it’s hotter outside, you can use it as your sole bed covering.

Plus, the shams are the cherry on top. Once everything is put into place, the matching pillows will instantly make your bedroom look put-together. Most quilts I own are well over $100, and they didn’t come with shams or look half as adorable as this one. I have a feeling that as February gets closer, this set will fly off shelves quickly, so don’t wait — give your space a Valentine’s Day makeover now!
