Here’s something you didn’t know you needed until right this second: custom keycaps for your keyboard. Tiny, a keycap artisan, has blown up on social media, and it’s not hard to see why. Her incredibly detailed and utterly adorable keycaps turn your WFH setup into a whimsical space you definitely won’t mind spending time in.

Tiny told Refinery29 back in June that her keycap journey started as a hobby, but has now blossomed into a full-time career. Her online shop, TinyMakesThings, allowed her to quit her day job as a software engineer and has been supporting her financially and creatively for several years.

“Most people are typing on a keyboard, regardless of their profession. If you’re sitting in an office, you’re probably typing on a computer and a keyboard,” Tiny told Refinery29 when asked why she found redoing keyboards so appealing. “So something that you’re using for hours on end, I feel like, why not? Why wouldn’t you want to make that a better experience if you’re spending so much time on it? You can customize it.”

Her polymer clay and resin keycaps have hit it big on social media — she currently has over 3.2 million TikTok followers. Through photos and videos, she shows how she makes her keycaps and how they can be used just like standard keycaps that come with standard keyboards.

Tiny works on commission, so you can reach out to her through her website when her commissions are open. She specializes in pets, Twitch emotes, and her own designs that she’s shared on social media.

She also sometimes runs public sales through her Patreon and Twitch, so you can subscribe to her newsletter or follow her on Instagram to be notified if and when a drop is happening.

If custom keycaps weren’t on your radar until now, good luck not becoming obsessed with Tiny’s creations.
