Need a few last-minute goodies to gift, or want to have some home finds on deck to refresh your space after the holiday decor comes down? You’ve come to the right place. Designers are always keeping their eyes peeled for fabulous finds, and one of their favorite under-the-radar online destinations for browsing for home decor is Marshalls. While you can find plenty of decorative accessories, textiles, and kitchen items in store, you might be surprised just how much the brand can also deliver to your door, from rugs and lamps to dinnerware and smaller pieces of furniture.

I love a good shopping challenge, though, and even more so when a designer steps up to the plate to take it. That’s why I tapped New Jersey-based designer Samantha Stathis-Lynch of Samantha Ware Design for her pro point of view. Here’s what she’d buy if she only had $50 to spend on home decor at Marshalls. You’ll be delighted by the vintage-look goods she found — they look right out of a Parisian flea market!

“A simple way to elevate your home is through upgrading your daily use items, like dishes or glassware, for pieces that exude a more elegant feel. These gold painted floral cereal bowls embody a classic charm and luxe feel that serve as the perfect touch to upgrade your kitchen for entertaining, without fully transforming the space.”

“Throw pillows are an easy way to incorporate subtle pattern and color into a space, enhancing the overall aesthetic quality of the room. Evoking a sense of old-world charm, pillows like this floral-patterned piece add a sense of sophistication and warmth to the living space. With the holidays just around the corner, cushions and blankets are an easy way to enhance the home’s comfortable atmosphere, helping your guests feel relaxed and at home in your space.”
