When you think of Disney princess-inspired home decor, you might not think it can be done in a sophisticated, elegant way. But one Disney lover transformed her bedroom into a real-life fairy tale oasis inspired by Cinderella, showing off a surprisingly grown up way to live out your Disney princess dreams.

TikTok user @kelseymichelle85 loves to share glimpses into her Disney home decor with fellow fans on her YouTube channel and Instagram page, along with the viral video app, and her latest transformation is nothing short of bibbidi-bobbidi-boo-tiful. She started first by buying a bed truly fit for a queen, sharing photos and videos of the installation project and the end result on TikTok and Instagram.

The mom of two shared in the comments section that she got the lavender and gold-detailed headboard and frame from Sweet Bee, an antique store located near her home in Snohomish, WA, and that it came from a family in France in the 1870s. But the bed was only the beginning, because she transformed the room’s bare white walls into something truly whimsical.

First, she transformed a chandelier-ceiling fan combo that she purchased on Amazon into something fit for a grand ballroom, adding the perfect amount of sparkle to an already magical setting.

She then unveiled the final touch: wall decor featuring scenes from “Cinderella,” which she made by hand using clear bubble ornaments that she purchased on Amazon. She purchased a “Cinderella” story book for $1 at a local thrift store, cutting out pages to insert into each ornament, which she then placed on the wall behind her bed.

Of course, plenty of commenters were awed by the clip, and it has racked up nearly 432,000 likes and 3,400 comments in just one day. Proof that a little creativity—and maybe some pixie dust—can turn any room into something truly regal.
