It is that time of year again, Disney fans! The new Disney mugs from the Starbucks “Been There” Series Pin Drop Collection have arrived. Somehow, Disney and Starbucks continue to release new mugs that have us throwing our cash right at them. Do we really need six mugs? Of course, we do!

Disney travelers that frequent Walt Disney World in Florida or Disneyland in California know that these mugs are sold in the Starbucks franchises located inside the parks. Previously, Disney and Starbucks have sold “You Are Here” mugs in the parks, which are part of the larger “You Are Here” series where people can purchase mugs themed around big cities and states. Now, these new “Been There” mugs are retro-themed to the six Disney Parks in the U.S. According to Bustle and WikiBooks guide, the “Been There” mugs will be replacing the “You Are Here” mugs.

Instagram user Mugs of Disney shared some additional insight into these mugs, for those who are interested in buying one. They wrote on Instagram:

It started out as a dreary Florida day, but quickly got brighter with the release of these new Disney Starbucks Pin Drop Collection Been There mugs!?☕️✨ We did some major park hopping today to get these!☺️??? ~Swipe~ through to see all the details, as well as the Disneyland and California Adventure ones shared by @our.happiest.adventures!? Thank you!? Here are some answers to the most popular questions we’ve been getting:

  • The You Are Here mugs are no longer in the stores, but I’m guessing they’ll be at the Outlets soon. They weren’t there today though.?
  • There were no matching ornaments.
  • I have no idea if these will go online, but my guess is they won’t. I think the others went on to help clear out the inventory for these.
  • The WDW mugs are $19.99 and the DL and DCA mugs are $16.99. I’m guessing we’ll see a price adjustment happen here.
  • Discounts do apply and if you pay using the Starbucks app you will earn rewards!⭐️
  • The new plastic tumbler that’s been at DL, finally showed up here in WDW.
  • The YAH Collection will not finish the remaining lands.

On the Magic Kingdom mug, the retro design features the clock face from It’s a Small World, Cinderella’s Castle, a teacup, a partially eaten Mickey bar, and more. The Epcot mugs features the famous Spaceship Earth sphere, monorail, and a German pretzel. The Animal Kingdom mug obviously has animals on it, like a lion and a rhino, as well as the Tree of Life. The Hollywood Studios mug has the Tower of Terror on it and while the mug has a retro design, it features a new Hollywood Studios ride – the Alien Swirling Saucers based on “Toy Story”! For the Disneyland mug, Sleeping Beauty’s castle is prominent, as is the whale from Storybook Land Canal Boats. The Disney California Adventure mug has Mickey’s Fun Wheel and the Hyperion Theater.

From Walt Disney World, you can purchase a Magic Kingdom mug, a Hollywood Studios mug, an Epcot, and an Animal Kingdom mug for $19.99. The Disneyland and Disney California Adventure mugs are $16.99. At the time of writing, the “Been There” mugs are not available online and are only available in the parks. However, before the “You Are Here” mugs are discontinued, you can still purchase these online.
