Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Our house was built in the 1970s and was significantly outdated when we moved in. I’ve re-done each room all by myself, slowly but surely transforming each room to create a home that we love! [See her kitchen before and after.]

I’m an avid DIYer; I love creating spaces that reflect my passion for art and love of bold colors! Andrew, my partner, is a social butterfly, whereas I am a total homebody. Our home is small, but it’s the perfect size for us and our adorable little pooch, Dobby.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Eclectic, bohemian, colorful, and unique!

What is your favorite room and why? It’s a toss-up between our bedroom and kitchen! I love all of the plants in our room; I find the space so relaxing. That and our bed is just so cozy! That being said, I am the most proud of the work I did in our kitchen. It’s by far the biggest DIY project that I’ve ever tackled!

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? I recently received a beautiful wall tapestry from a talented friend of mine, Aubrey Nielson!

Any advice for creating a home you love? Take your time creating spaces that you truly love and reflect who you are as a person. It’s great to gain inspiration from home decor trends and other people but I find I’m only truly happy when I make something my own!
