If you’re a DIYer who would love to meet other makers, crafters, and builders IRL, you’re going to want to listen up. DIY CON — a three-day immersive event for DIYers, from beginners to super-advanced doers — will take place this fall for the first time ever, at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas, from November 6 to 8, 2026. Apartment Therapy is thrilled to be the official media partner of DIY CON for this first-of-its-kind experience.

Attendees of DIY CON (brought to you by RX, the event organizer behind New York Comic Con and other large shows) can expect hands-on workshops and demos; access to new products, favorite brands, and specials and discounts; and the chance to network with fellow creatives in DIY CON’s lounge area.

Throughout the event’s three days, attendees will be able to explore the mapped-out areas: Storage & Organization, Smart Living, Outdoor Living & Backyard, Build & Renovate, Interiors & Decor, and Makers & Crafters. Whether you’re interested in expanding your DIY knowledge to try new projects, or you want to know more about the latest tools and brands in the field you already thrive in, DIY CON will truly have every area covered for every kind of DIYer.

And it definitely doesn’t stop there. The hosts of Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott, are taking over the main stage at DIY CON on Saturday, November 7, to share their insights on how you can redefine your space. You can catch the stars of HGTV’s Down Home Fab, Chelsea and Cole DeBoer, on Sunday, November 8, and check out Mr. Kate, aka husband-and-wife duo Kate Albrecht and Joey Zehr, on Friday, November 6.

There are so many other exciting panels, too, including Ashley Tate (@smashingdiy), DIYer April Wilkerson, designer and artist Jimmy DiResta, and more. Plus, plenty of other DIY content creators, celebrities, and experts will give advice and inspiration via hands-on workshops for DIYers of every level. Make a live-edge charcuterie board with Sam Raimondi of DIY Huntress, perfect your pocket holes with Anika Gandhi of Anika’s DIY Life, or check out all the available workshops.

The workshops will be split into beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. All workshops are included with your ticket, but if you want the hands-on experience, you’ll need to make a free reservation — those spots will open on the DIY CON website sometime in October. Without a reservation, you can watch the workshop from the stands, with space available on a first-come, first-served basis. Panels will also be first-come, first-served, and you’ll be able to join a physical queue onsite to wait for a spot.

Tickets are now on sale, and an early bird special is running through October 23! Attend one day for only $47 with access to the main stage to hear from panelists, beginner and intermediate workshops, and all of the brand booths and featured activities. Or purchase a three-day pass for $113 and experience it all over the entire weekend.

But if you’re looking for an upgrade, DIY CON offers a VIP Weekend Experience for $363 that includes a three-day pass, access to the VIP lounge and party, specific parking areas, a 15% discount on merch, special seating for panels with front-row access to stages and workshops, and VIP lanes at merch booths and food trucks.

If you’re bringing kids aged 6-12, a Kids Single Day Pass is $37 with access to Kids Make-It Zones and family-friendly demonstrations. Or you can attend the full three-day event for $90 with the same access to the Kids Zones but with even more access to creative challenges.
