Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: Our home is our sanctuary and an extension of the people (and pups) that live in it. Being in self isolation has taught us how important it is to create a space you truly enjoy being in. Our house is full of color and pattern and things that bring a smile to our face, so it is really hard to be sad here.
It is a happy and uplifting home. Often our friends and family tell us that being in our house has inspired them to bring color to their own spaces and that makes us happy. This house is an ever-evolving canvas that will never be stagnant. It is a home that is designed to always make you feel joyful and to nurture creativity.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Colorful, eclectic, whimsical, and cozy.
What is your favorite room and why? For right now it is our living room. We love to hang out here with a glass of bourbon, both pups by our side, either people watching from our giant window, reading a book, or binging on Netflix. We have all our favorite artworks, flea market finds, books, and tchotchkes here. If you were a detective our living room would tell you exactly what kind of people we are. This room calms us and disconnects us from the problems of the outside world.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? Vintage painting of a giant Banana Sunday painting and we love it!
Any advice for creating a home you love? There are no such things as design rules. Fill your house with everything that brings you joy and it will all work in harmony with one another. Your home will become a space that is uniquely yours.
