As many of us are only finding out now, working from home isn’t easy. Some might say it’s even ruff.

Over on Instagram, a new account hopes to ease the stress of riding out the COVID-19 pandemic with pics of everyone’s newest co-workers. Called @DogsWorkingFromHome, it shows dogs adjusting to new work arrangements such as coming to the office without bathing, attending an online meeting, and taking naps when the boss isn’t looking.

According to Mark Polchleb, he started the page recently because the experience of a dog distracting one from work is just so relatable. “I think we’ve all experienced trying to type on the keyboard with the dog edging its head into your hands,” he told The Guardian.

The brand manager from Melbourne started out with his two dachshunds, Billie and Ollie. Once they became popular, he decided to include their other furry pals. “They’re used to this fame world and so now they’re creating a community of friends.”

As of writing, the account has over 23,000 followers in just three days, and is quickly gaining more.

For those interested in sending photos of their canine colleagues, there’s only one criteria: “[The dogs] definitely need to be at home. Obviously we’re at a time where we’re encouraging people to stay at home and indoors. We’ve had people submitting dogs at cafes, which is a big ‘no-no’ from me. We want to see those doggos at home with their families where everyone should be staying for now.

“Apart from that,” he added, “as long as they’re cute and can make us smile then we’ll take anything.”
