If you’ve ever seen an ad for your favorite restaurant or remembered you need to order groceries in the middle of a binge-watching session, Roku and DoorDash have partnered to make your life a little easier.

Grocery stores and takeout restaurants listed on DoorDash now have the option to run shoppable commercials on Roku that will allow users to begin a food order using their remote control. By clicking the on-screen ad, you will start a process that will text or email you a link taking you directly to the particular store or restaurant featured in the DoorDash ad so that you can take advantage of whatever special is being offered.

This is the second such partnership being offered to Roku users: in June, the company entered an arrangement with Walmart that allows viewers to order items from the big box chain straight from their television. “Streaming and delivery just go together, which is why we’re making it easier than ever for Roku users to order their favorite food right from their TV,” Roku’s president of consumer experience, Gidon Katz, said.

To further encourage users to turn to DoorDash over its competitors like Uber Eats and GrubHub, the company is offering new and existing Roku subscribers a free six month trial of DashPass, which eliminates delivery fees on orders from countless restaurants as well as convenience, grocery, and retail stores across the country. Those waived fees would apply to all orders, regardless of whether the order is placed through Roku or not. After six months, the DashPass subscription would cost $9.99 per month, but if you signed up for a DashPass trial or paid subscription within the last six months, unfortunately, the offer won’t apply.

The first shoppable ads — a Wendy’s deal offering users $5 off of orders of $15 or more — debuted on Roku on February 7 and will run until March 12. Neither Roku nor DoorDash have confirmed what other stores or restaurants will be participating in the new program as of now.
