Drake’s Scented Candle Collection Has Arrived

Better World Fragrance House, the home fragrance line from rapper and singer Drake, is now on the market. After the highly-publicized limited release of Carby Musk (marketed as the scent of the rapper himself — Drake apparently smells like musk, ambers, cashmere, suede, and velvet, for those curious), the full collection has made its grand debut on Mother’s Day.

Available for $48 each, BWFH’s collection includes Carby Musk (the very one that quickly sold out last year on Revolve), Williamsburg Sleepover⁠, Sweeter Tings⁠, Good Thoughts⁠, and Muskoka. The rapper collaborated with Michael Carby, fragrance brand Givaudan’s perfumer, for the candles, which all come with a marker to personalize the jars. For a breakdown of the scents, see below.

Carby Musk: a musk scent profile that combines soft floral, velvet, and amber — the first from the collection, marketed as the fragrance that smells like Drake himself.

Williamsburg Sleepover⁠: a floral woody musk scent profile that “captures the essence of an urban garden under shaded lights,” according to the description, one that combines red roses, succulent blond woods, and warm ambers.

Sweeter Tings⁠: an “oriental gourmand” scent profile that combines Italian citrus, floral rose, and woods from Haiti and North America.

Good Thoughts⁠: a floral scent profile of Brazilian oranges, Canadian fir trees, Bulgarian roses, and Australian sandalwood for a vibrant freshness.

Muskoka: an “oriental woody” scent profile of guaiac wood, cloves, and sandalwood that emulates the cozy embers of a campfire.

The launch comes on the heels of Drake’s promo partnership with Postmates: between Friday, May 7 and today, Sunday, May 9, those who place a minimum $50 takeout order on Postmates from one of the rapper’s favorite restaurants in New York or Los Angeles will receive one complementary candle from the collection, while supplies last. NY eateries include STK Steakhouse, TAO, and LAVO Italian Restaurant, while LA eateries include Nice Guy, Craig’s, and Nobu.
