Type of home: House
Size: 2,296 square feet

Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: This beautiful 1972 home is indeed a hidden gem. My husband and I bought this home in September 2021 and ever since, I worked immediately in ways and ideas to make it feel like our own. I can proudly say that my home is a mix of styles, cultures, and interesting thrift store finds.
As a Latina artist who traveled the world, I would say that my home is a reflection of my roots, our culture, and travels. You can see my colorful paintings all throughout the house. I love mixing patterns, colors, and styles.
Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Colorful, modern organic, eclectic tropical
What is your favorite room and why? Although we have a stunning sunroom, I must say that my favorite room is the dining room. The mix of antiques and modern furniture pieces is just a piece of art! There is also a self portrait I painted that is very special to me.
What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? The last thing I bought for my home was an antique oak chair I found at a thrift store for my daughter’s desk. It was repainted with a teal green color, and my daughter absolutely loves it.
Any advice for creating a home you love? Add pieces that bring you joy and represent who you are.
