Emma Stone Clearly Enjoys a Wallpaper Moment, As Seen in Her Beverly Hills Home for Sale
Cue the “La-La Land” jokes: Oscar-winner Emma Stone has listed her four-bed, four-and-a-half-bath estate in Beverly Hills for $3.899 million, Variety reports. Located in the Coldwater Canyon section of town, the 3,862-square-foot home, which was built in 1953, is the very picture of privacy. Tucked away on a quiet road behind a high wall and secure gates, the property was previously owned by British star Dudley Moore.
The traditional-style home is both welcoming and cozy, and Stone has decorated with fun wallpaper in several spaces. A living room with high ceilings features an oversized white brick fireplace that cascades high up toward the beamed ceiling. Move from the roomy, casual dining area into the spacious kitchen, which has a large center island with a deep farmhouse-style sink, as well as French doors that open out to the sunny backyard, where a sparkling swimming pool sits on a flat, grassy lawn. There’s also a comfortable, shaded patio area, perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or dinner with friends. The spacious master bedroom, which comes with extensive closet space and a vintage-inspired bathroom, also has French doors that open out to the backyard.
Stone bought the home back in 2012 for $2.477 million, so she’ll make a nice profit if she manages to sell at her asking price of $3.899 million. Realtor.com points out the home was recently overhauled, so whoever the lucky buyer is won’t need to sink a lot of dough into renovations. While there’s no word on where Stone is headed right now, we do know that her boyfriend Dave McCary is back east, so maybe she’s in a New York State of Mind, too.
