When Erin and Ben Napier purchased their Tudor-style home in Mississippi, they made sure not to stray too far from the initial house design. In fact, some rooms like the living room only needed a coat of fresh paint to make it feel new and fresh again. And the house clearly appreciates their renovation style because the basement gifted them a gorgeous Christmas tree topper that matches the rest of the house perfectly, and will likely become an instant heirloom.

“The tree is still miraculously undisturbed by sweet 18-month-old Mae!” Erin Napier captioned a December 17 Instagram post. “My favorite thing about the farm tree is that we found the star on top in the basement and it exactly matches the living room light fixture stars that match the screen door stars.”

The star topper is likely from the Art Deco era in which the house was built. And knowing that the original builder of the house had quite a way with woodworking and crafting, he may have even made it himself to match the star motif throughout the main floor.

If you love the look of the Napier’s star tree topper, but your basement only gifts you spiders and bins of Beanie Babies, then you can find similar new toppers that give that great angular shape.

This one from Wondershop features that similar layered shape as the Napier’s, and the gold-tone gives it a vintage feel. This one actually lights up so your topper will become the star of the show — pun intended. And you can grab this topper in-store or online at Target for 50 percent off right now.
