Check Out The Playful Art Erin and Ben Napier Have on Their Frame TV
If you guessed that Erin Napier’s home would be the coziest place in the entire world come fall, you’d be right. Napier posted a quick video showing off her living room with the fireplace roaring and the mood lighting on — but summer hasn’t entirely left Napier’s mind yet. The whimsical painting above her fireplace proves that.
The painting is a piece by California-based artist Peggi Kroll Roberts, who actually spotted her artwork in Napier’s video. “Cool! My croquet players from Balboa Park above your fireplace,” she commented on Napier’s post, which was captioned “How it’s going at the farm now that cold weather is here.”
Napier responded, “Yes! Ben googled you and found one for the Frame TV!”
“I have the original to that,” Kroll Roberts wrote back. “I was down in San Diego, painting, and came across these gentlemen playing croquet in Balboa Park. Had to do a painting of them! I love images of people enjoying themselves. That’s why I love your mission so much!”
Although Kroll Roberts paints and draws a variety of different subjects — including animals and flowers — the oils, acrylics, and pen and ink pieces of people having fun are definitely some of her best.
You can just feel the energy, joy, and fun radiating from the scenes she puts onto paper.
So although Napier is settling into the cozy season, Kroll Roberts’ work, dense with a spring- and summer-inspired color palette, is just too joyful to not have on display. You can learn more about Peggi Kroll Roberts over on the artist’s website.
