Eva Chen, a children’s book author and director of fashion and shopping partnerships at Instagram, has a new partnership of her own — an exclusive home decor collaboration with West Elm Kids.

A mom of three who spent time at Teen Vogue, Elle, and Lucky magazine before landing at Meta, Chen brought her modern, fashion-forward sensibility and firsthand experience with her young family to this 26-piece collaboration, which spans the categories of furniture, lighting, rugs, and textiles. Her littles are just as into books as Chen was growing up and still is today. So reading became a chief inspiration of the collection.

You’ll find bookcases, reading lamps, and smart, bookworm-friendly features like built-in shelving across many of the pieces, including a lofted bed, arched bench, and dresser. The lofted bed even features a built-in reading nook! A generous chair and half is perfect for story time snuggles, while storage baskets bring order to toys, books, and knickknacks.

While the core furniture items sport neutral blue gray and mustard upholstery as well as light wood finishes, pops of butter yellow, teal, and pink can be found throughout the line as accents. Jaunty geometric shapes weave throughout the pieces as well, incorporated in furniture silhouettes, textile patterns, and details like decorative cutouts.
