As a fan of FARM Rio and owner of several of the brand’s exuberant patterned dresses and tops, I’ve often thought to myself, “Wow, that’d make a great design for a pillow or a tablecloth!” about certain pieces. Today, that hunch has become an exciting reality, as Anthropologie is partnering with the iconic Brazilian fashion brand on an exclusive summer decor collaboration that feels like a vibrant vacation for your dining table, living room, or backyard.

What Is the FARM Rio x Anthropologie Summer Home Collaboration?

As the first retailer to introduce FARM Rio to the states in 2017, Anthropologie feels like the perfect partner for this sunny assortment of decorating and entertaining essentials, ranging from ceramics and glassware to textiles like pillows, table linens, and blankets. “While we have long championed FARM Rio’s expressive apparel, this partnership allowed our design teams to work hand-in-hand to translate their iconic Brazilian motifs into the home space,” said Katherine Finder, chief merchandising officer at Anthropologie Home, in a press release about the line. “By moving beyond traditional outdoor materials and utilizing elevated ceramics and wood, we’ve created a collection that feels collected, memorable, and perfect for summer gatherings.”

Designed with an emphasis on indoor-outdoor gatherings, the 51-item assortment is fairly large and centered around the quintessentially summery motifs FARM Rio is best known for (think: palm fronds and foliage, tropical birds, and the brand’s signature sunny banana). Overall, the color palette is lush and bold, although a few of the larger pieces, like the indoor/outdoor rugs, skew a bit more neutral.

The dinnerware is absolutely gorgeous. Plates and platters look like tropical tableaus for the table, and some feature jaunty striped trims perfect for pattern mixing, even within individual pieces.

You’ll find whimsical details galore, including napkins that playfully feature leaf-shaped edges to a banana-handled pitcher. The collection also includes a few special lifestyle pieces, from a deck of waterproof playing cards and Jenga tower game to a soccer ball and surfboard

The FARM Rio exclusively for Anthropologie home collection is available in stores and online now. Prices range from $8 to $4,500.
