Can’t get enough of Chip & Joanna Gaines? The season four finale of Fixer Upper airs on Tuesday, but fans won’t have to wait too long for more from the Waco based design duo. HGTV just announced that the fan favorite series is getting its own spinoff, and you can check it out next week.

After the Fixer Upper finale ends on March 28, a special advanced screening of the new show, Fixer Upper: Behind the Design will air.

In an hour long episode of Fixer Upper, there’s not a ton of time to drill down into the details of a design, especially since the show takes a project from purchase (though not quite) to renovation to decoration. “We get a lot of questions… design-wise on how we get from point A to Z on these houses and these projects,” Joanna said in an Instagram video about the new show.

Each 30 minute episode is a companion to a makeover on Fixer Upper, where Joanna will “share detailed insider insights on the design strategies, decorating and staging of the individual home-makeovers featured in the main series.”

“She’ll reveal never-before-seen design elements and shows how she, Chip and her design assistants work to meet clients’ needs and style preferences while overcoming challenges that pop up along the way,” according to the announcement on HGTV.

But that’s not the only way you can here Joanna talk about design; there’s a digital exclusive series, called Design on Her Mind, where the shiplap fan shares insights and details from projects on Fixer Upper.

While, admittedly, a lot of the pair’s makeovers look similar (though we really like this houseboat), for fans of that look and style, this should be a fun peek into the workings of a transformation.

Season five of Fixer Upper returns later this year.
