One Last ‘Flip or Flop’ Special Is Headed to HGTV in December
Christina Hall and Tarek El Moussa are reuniting for one final “Flip or Flop” episode, a special titled “Flip or Flop: The Final Flip.”
“Surprise….! One last episode of ‘Flip or Flop: The Final Flip,’ coming your way Thursday, Dec. 1 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on @hgtv,” Hall announced on Instagram. “The one-hour special will also be available to stream the same day on [Discovery+].”
In the upcoming episode, the former couple will renovate a home in Sunset Beach, California.
“Flip or Flop” first premiered on HGTV in 2013. The series showcased formerly married couple Hall and El Moussa as they purchased dilapidated properties in the Orange County, California area, and undertook the risky process of remodeling (a.k.a. “flipping”) these homes and selling them for a profit.
Although Hall and El Moussa separated in 2016, the exes continued to work together on “Flip or Flop” for 10 seasons. The last episode of the series aired in March of this year.
“I am grateful we had such an amazing team on this journey who always made filming fun and exciting,” Hall continued in her Instagram post. “From rotten turkeys and wild chickens to roden infestations and unexpected squatters, there was never a dull moment on set.”
While “Flip or Flop” is officially coming to an end, fans can look forward to watching the two HGTV stars take on new shows in 2023. Hall will detail her new life in Tennessee with husband Josh Hall in her upcoming series “Christina in the Country,” while continuing to work on new episodes of her first solo show, “Christina on the Coast” (in which she helps clients transform outdated properties, “cool SoCal style”).
Meanwhile, El Moussa — who’s been working on the show “Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa” since 2021 — will premiere his new show “The Flipping El Moussas,” in which he renovates homes with his wife, “Selling Sunset” star Heather Rae El Moussa.
You can catch “Flip or Flop: The Final Flip” at 8 p.m. ET/PT on HGTV, or on the Discovery+ app.
