Floral wallpaper, a soft color palette, and a row of leafy green pothos plants greet you in Ohiana Navarte’s rental apartment. She’s a psychiatrist, budding fashion designer… and clearly amazing at interior design, too. Her home in Valencia, Spain is also a great example of how to add a lot of visual impact without visual clutter. Using energetic, graphic wallpaper on the walls of many of the rooms means she can be minimal in her furnishings, while still creating a calming space that feels cozy.

The travels she does, the people she meets—everything in her life can work as an inspiration for her designs. In this sense, her rental apartment truly is a reflection of her personality. Gorgeous prints on the walls, bright natural light, and cute vintage furniture… it all comes together to create the perfect cocktail of a beautiful and original home.
