Forget Blankets, Wrap Yourself Up In This Cozy Chair

As temperatures begin to drop, now’s the time to turn your place into a cozy nest. Sure, you could break out a throw blanket or light a fire, but this duvet inspired armchair is some next level cocooning.

The chair, called COLE, is a product of Russian furniture designer Kseniya Alferova. It features a gray and pink upholstered frame with tapered legs, and additional wings of quilted fabric that hang at the sides that can be used to wrap around the sitter if a chill comes over them—helpful when you’re deep in a Netflix binge and can’t be bothered to go grab a sweatshirt or a Snuggie.

This isn’t the first blanket/furniture hybrid we’ve seen, however; the Moody Nest, created by Frankfurt-based designer Hanna Ernsting, is a cushy seat encased in a quilted fabric that can be wrapped and piled any which way for complete coziness.
