White bedroom with bed and white dresser and floor length mirror

When you’re short on space, investing in multipurpose furniture pieces that do it all is a must. And just in time for New Year’s decluttering, there’s a new full-length mirror that’s viral on Instagram for its ingenious design. It’s a mirror, it’s a coat rack, and it lives happily in a corner of your room.

If you’re already a big fan of a full-length, freestanding mirror in your space, this design by a brand known as Muwele may be worth your upgrade budget. It manages to fit in a substantial closet storage system in the same floor space that a standard mirror uses — that’s a major win.

This Mirror Offers So Much More Than Just Your Reflection

“This rotating mirror is perfect if you’re short on space,” Instagram user Sarah Colussi said in a recent video. “It has the benefit of a full-length mirror but with a slim design that tucks away in the corner, and it doubles as a clothing rack and shoe storage.”

The solid wood piece (sold on Amazon!) is available in three finishes (black, white, and walnut), and you can either purchase it in a stationary design, or on handy wheels for trickier floor plans. It’s made with high-definition mercury glass that provides a distortion-free reflection but manages to completely conceal a full coat-rack system on its rear, which includes pegs for hats, bags, and other accessories, alongside two full shelves.

“It’s really pretty and sleek and fits in well with my room so far. I’m loving it!” one reviewer wrote. “Building it was pretty fun and easy once I got past attaching the mirror to the base.”

Another shopper added: “This is such a beautiful piece. The quality of the mirror and the shelves/stand are amazing! It’s a great space saver!”

The entire unit takes up less than 2 feet of space, so you find a home for it in virtually any space — even the tightest corner of a studio apartment.

If clothes aren’t the only thing that you’re in desperate need of storing away, then this mirror from Wayfair could be a great alternative to this viral Amazon find. It opens to reveal a full jewelry armoire that has plenty of space for makeup, hair, and skincare products, too. And tucked into its back are three small shelves that are the perfect size for bags, shoes, or small plants.

These full-length mirrors make your small space feel so much larger in more ways than one! Put them to work in your home, and you’ll wonder how you ever put up with those back-of-the-door funhouse mirrors for so many years.
