You Can Get Paid $5,000 to Take Bubble Baths
If you’re a lover of bubble baths, you’ll know the luxury of taking a long soak in the bathtub while staying at your favorite hotel. The bad news for bath fans is that hotel tubs are becoming a rarity as more and more properties opt for wet rooms and standing showers. The good news, however, is that you can now apply to become a professional bubble bath taker—and you’ll get paid for it.
Hotels.com is passionate about saving hotel bathtubs, and is on the hunt for a “Bath Boss” to bring awareness to what they describe as “one of the best hotel amenities”. One winner will embark on a trip of a lifetime, which involves doing absolutely nothing but soaking in water for a questionable amount of time. Pure bliss if you ask me.
The Bath Boss will fly out to New York City to spend six nights across three different luxurious hotels—The Langham, The Dominick, and Mr. C Seaport—to test out the tub and soak to the point of a prune.
For all that hard work, the Bath Boss will receive a payment of $5,000, along with a $1,000 travel stipend. They’ll also get a range of plush bathroom accessories to complete the experience, including a custom robe, slippers, and an eye mask.
To apply, bath fans should fill out the application form, stating their “experience” with taking baths, and why they think they’re the perfect person for the job.
The Bath Boss must be available to travel to New York City, in accordance with current travel guidelines, from Nov. 9 to Nov. 15. Applications close at 12 a.m. CT. on Oct. 15 and the winner will be notified by Oct. 19. The position is open to U.S. residents only, and you must be 21 or over to apply.
Happy bathing!
