At this point, it’s common knowledge that we’re big fans of Drew Barrymore here at AT. Most notably, we’re familiar with her Beautiful kitchen line at Walmart, with our editors frequently praising products like this affordable stand mixer and multifunctional skillet. As a result, when I learned that Drew had recently launched a sustainable line of cleaning supplies in conjunction with Grove Collaborative, I jumped at the chance to try a few of the products, myself. If you didn’t know, the actress and talk show host was already a brand advocate for Grove Co., so it only makes sense that she’d put her spin on some of their bestsellers. Although I’ve been loving everything I’ve gotten to try from the Fresh Horizons line, there’s one product I find myself reaching for more than any other on a daily basis. That’s the limited-edition Swedish dishcloth, which comes in a set of two for just $10.

It’s important to note that Grove Co.’s standard Swedish dishcloths aren’t limited edition, but if you want the pair with Drew’s signature and fun, multicolored print on them, you’d be smart to snag them now. When my products arrived, I was surprised to find that the dishcloths felt stiff. But as soon as I ran them under some water, the cellulose and cotton towels loosened and expanded. In fact, they can absorb up to 15 times their weight in liquid, making these dishcloths perfect for wiping up kitchen messes of almost any kind. I find myself reaching for a cloth multiple times each day, whether I’m using it to soak up the water around the sink or get rid of sticky residue on the countertops after cooking. I simply grab my Fresh Horizons spray bottle filled with surface cleaner and apply some to the area in question. With a couple of swipes with the dishcloth, the surface is sparkling clean.

Of course, I also love that these dishcloths are reusable. Before I got them, I was using regular paper towels to clean kitchen messes and feeling guilty about how many of them I was throwing away. But with these, I waste much less paper. What’s more, they’re dishwasher safe and microwave safe — therefore super easy to clean. Although I’d recommend each product I’ve used from this eco-friendly line, be it the plant-based surface cleaner or dish soap, I’d say the Swedish dishcloths are easily the most versatile and useful items in the line. And it definitely helps that they look way cuter than any other rag I’ve ever used!
