Don’t you just love it when you walk into a room that smells fantastic? I adore that feeling, which is why I am so in love with candles. But because I move papers and other items around on my desk all day long, I am not big on candles in my workspace. That’s why I found a solution that wasn’t also a potential fire hazard! The Signature Wax Warmer Kit comes with one warmer and a scent collection pack of your choice, each containing three 2-ounce fragrances. The warmer contains a built-in ceramic heater, and it’s equipped with an auto-shut-off timer that can be set to three, six, or nine hours. I usually set mine to three hours, let it rest through lunch, and turn it on again for the afternoon.

I particularly love the Happy Wax Warmer’s “no-scrape” silicone dish. I’ve had at least five wax warmers over the years, and all of them came with either ceramic or metal dishes. Sure, they’re pretty, but they’re also pretty hard to clean! Silicone might not be as glamorous as a lustrous gold or a jewel-toned dish, but it’s a whole lot more convenient and efficient than scraping out old wax. The wax pops right out, still in one piece, and then you can toss it out or put it away to use again later.

In terms of looks, I went with a Terrazzo warmer because it was bright and colorful and felt like a party, but there are nine more designs to pick from to suit your style. No matter which you choose, the soy wax melts (which resemble gummy bears — adorable!) really pack in the fragrance. Infused with essential oils, they come in an assortment of colors. Evergreen Trees is a pretty mint green, Snickerdoodle is a caramel brown, and there are even pre-mixed scents like Cozy Cabin, Cocktail, and Spa Day that come with multicolored melts. I initially started my Happy Wax journey with Cinnamon Sticks and have since added Vanilla Sandalwood and Sugared Leaves to create a warm, homey scent for the chillier months. And I love that the smell lingers even after I turn off the warmer.

Giving me all of the benefits of a candle without the hazards, the Signature Wax Warmer is the only home fragrance device that I use in my office now.
