What happens when you combine the Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley with a Brooklyn dive bar? You get The Lockhart, a Harry Potter-themed bar with locations in both Toronto and Montreal—a.k.a. the most-magical establishment in the entire world (besides Hogwarts, that is).

The Lockhart serves up a variety of wizard-worthy “potions and elixirs” that are served with slices of fruit, various edible herbs and flowers, and are sometimes accompanied by flames and/or glitter. Each concoction is cheekily named after a classic Harry Potter trope (such as “Befuddlement Draught,” “The Shacklebolt,” and “Ludo’s Debt,” as PopSugar reports), and each is a visual masterpiece. Any one of them could easily be ladeled out of Hermione Granger’s potions-class cauldron.

In fact, The Lockhart occasionally hosts their own version of potions class so that you can learn how to brew up one or many of their much-loved drinks.

“Beneath the still surface of history, there have always been hints of hidden power, lurking just beyond the end of mundane comprehension. Come, and let us part the veil for you,” The Lockhart’s website reads. “We hold the keys to a mystic underworld—a place beyond time, rich with experiences beyond the scope of mortal scale.”

Besides the spellbinding drink menu, The Lockhart, named after the famed author and temporary Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Gilderoy Lockhart (but you already knew that), serves a killer brunch complete with $3 mimosas.

And while you’re sipping, you may also wish to partake in Harry Potter trivia or feast your eyes on one of the many magicians that graces The Lockhart on a regular basis.

For those of you who fall hard for The Lockhart’s charms, you can book an event through the bar and have The Lockhart cater your Harry Potter-themed wedding, birthday, or another magical celebration.

Hop on your broom and fly over to The Lockhart in either Toronto or Montreal. Whether you received your Hogwarts acceptance letter or not, all are welcome in this magical establishment.
