Make room in your official collection of all things Harry Potter for a new wizardly addition: Board game and puzzle manufacturer USAopoly recently announced the forthcoming release of a new collaborative game.

HARRY POTTER: Death Eaters Rising is based on the fifth book/film, “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.” The game, which will be available in Fall 2019, pits players against the infamous Death Eaters on a quest to ultimately corral and conquer Lord Voldemort.

“HARRY POTTER: Death Eaters Rising captures the difficulties and terrors Harry Potter, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger faced during their fifth year at Hogwarts as they scramble to persuade the wizarding world of Voldemort’s return,” said USAopoly Lead Game Designer Pat Marino. “Just as setbacks and devastation befell Harry and his friends during their journey, players can expect an equally challenging path to success in Death Eaters Rising that makes victory much more rewarding.”

For the Muggles who’ll be soon gathering around a table to conjure their most effective spells, the rules to the card and dice game are pretty straightforward. Each player is tasked with choosing an all-star team of wizards and witches from Dumbledore’s Army, Hogwarts, and Order of the Phoenix in an effort to permanently banish He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named from existence. This charge can be led by various characters including Harry Potter or Hermione Granger (#TeamDumbledoresArmy), Minerva McGonagall or Albus Dumbledore (#TeamHogwarts), or Nymphadora Tonks or Sirius Black (#TeamOrderofthePhoenix). After leaders are selected, they can then choose from a badass bunch of supporting characters like Ginny Weasley, Severus Snape, Alastor “Mad-Eye” Moody, Luna Lovegood and more.

Working to realize the ominous prophecy, “Neither can live while the other survives,” the teams will go against the Dark Wizards (we’re looking at you, Malfoy) and Death Eaters to ensure that Voldemort meets his demise. HARRY POTTER: Death Eaters Rising can be played by 2-4 players, is suitable for ages 11 and up and takes between 45 minutes and an hour to complete. It will be sold for $49.95.
