Although predominantly a place to score designer-look furniture, home decor, and textiles for less, it’s no secret that HomeGoods has always had gourmet underpinnings. All it takes is a spin around your local brick-and-mortar’s food section to spot fun snacks, giftable pantry items, and fancy drink mixers you’d find in a high-end boutique. And the cookware and small appliances? Well, with the big name brands carried by the store nationwide, that’s top-notch, too. Now, HomeGoods is leaning a little more into this foodie flair by collaborating with James Beard award-winning Chef Mashama Bailey of The Grey restaurant fame on a once-in-a-lifetime (well, technically, twice) dining experience for a group of lucky HomeGoods superfans.

Called “A Taste of HomeGoods” and taking place on May 31 in Austin, Texas, the premise behind the 8-course dinner is a lot like a HomeGoods shopping trip. Attendees will progress through distinctly styled, Instagram-worthy spaces (all inspired by a key decor item) while eating their way through a tasting menu Bailey developed especially for this experience. The same way you never quite know what you are going to stumble upon at a HomeGoods store — and what inspiration it’ll spark in you — Bailey’s flavor profiles and pairings, too, will keep guests seeking and finding.

The only drawback? There are only two seatings — 6 and 9 p.m. ET — and a limited number of reservations for the $24.99 experience. Of course, you also have to be local to Austin, within driving distance, or willing to travel in the name of a very exclusive but accessibly priced HomeGoods experience. The brand is also keeping a waitlist in the event of cancellations.

If you can’t make it out to Texas, keep your fingers crossed that HG will host another one of these food-meets-home experiences down the line. And if that’s not the case, don’t worry — you can take a peek at a few of the spaces guests will see above and shop them, as well as some other fun kitchen and food-related finds from all around the globe, here. Did you know that HomeGoods has an exclusive selection of finds from around the world that can be sorted by region? Let me be the first to tell you: The Made in Europe section is a treasure trove of ceramics, textiles, glassware, and even furniture finds. Trot out any of these pieces, and I promise you — everyone will think you traveled far beyond the States to snag them. Hello, ceramics from Portugal and French pots and pans!

The dessert table at “A Taste of HomeGoods” was decked out with on-trend, colorful clear glass candlesticks and vases. Create your own camera-ready display with one of these blue glass vessels sourced in Spain. It’s beautiful with or without flowers.

These black Italian acrylic chairs are a total steal at $160 per pair. If your dining room leans modern, they might be the style for you. Or you could try the slightly more traditional Ghost silhouette in a clear colorway for just $40 more.

I can’t believe I’m sharing these before putting them in my own cart and checking out, but you’re welcome. The ever-so slightly wiggly silhouette, the cute shot size sold in a set of six? I’m picturing serving little baby desserts out of these tiny glasses all summer long.

A wise designer once told me that kitchen and tea towels make better dinner napkins than, well, dinner napkins, thanks to their larger proportions. Full disclosure: I haven’t seen these linens in person to tell whether they scream “dish towel” or not, but for $3.50 a pop, I’d be willing to order a few to see if I could repurpose them to set a table or line a bread basket. Worst-case scenario, I now have two fun, windowpane-patterned towels for my oven handle.

You can never have too many terracotta pots, and this design has both drain holes and pretty twisted handles. So they’re ready to go for planting and easy moving, whether you want to style them inside or outdoors.

Want to set a memorable summer table that feels fresh? Repurpose an oversized fouta-style towel or thin woven throw as a tablecloth. I’m loving the pretty blue in this geometric design from Portugal, and bonus: The reverse side gives you another totally different look. If your table is extra-large, order two and layer them.

With its colorful tiled top, fun scalloped trim, and metal pin legs, this piece is the perfect mix of classic, on-trend, and modern all at once. With the money you save on buying this stand at HomeGoods, you can treat yourself to a new plant baby to put on it.

If your saucepan could use an upgrade, this one's a beaut. What’s nice is this will work on any type of cooktop, too, including induction.
