Fans of HGTV’s “Good Bones” are going to want to plan a trip to downtown Indianapolis in the future. The home renovation show’s star Mina Starsiak Hawk just opened a home decor store and bistro on the south side called Two Chicks District Co., and you’ll want to bring an empty suitcase with you.

“Tomorrow is the big day!” Hawk captioned a June 19 Instagram post. “This has been many years in the making and we all hope that you love it as much as we do!…It’s going to be a hot one so come get a snowcone and a glass of rosé while you check out the new shop!”

Two Chicks District Co., which opened to the public on June 20, offers a variety of different styles from eclectic to traditional, and farmhouse and mid-century modern. Hawk achieved a cohesive look across the style spectrum by implementing an array of “textures, layers, and bold color choices,” as the Two Chicks website explains.

While you’re shopping for decor pieces that will bring your space from just fine to fabulous and functional, you can take a break and pop into the adjoining Two Chicks bistro for a simple sandwich and refreshment from the hefty beer-and-wine list.

Two Chicks District Co. will be open Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. And if you plan on coming by, a mask will be required due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
