Anyone who knows me or follows me on Instagram knows that I love to decorate. What many people don’t know, however, is that I get most of my home decor items from Home Goods. I’ve long been a fan of the brand (as well as its sister store, Homesense) for more reasons than one. For starters, Home Goods offers a wide variety of different home decor styles, so whether you swoon over colorful Hollywood Regency interiors (like me) or prefer more neutral Scandi or modern farmhouse spaces, there are plenty of decorative items to choose from. What’s more, Home Goods has a great 30-day return policy for in-store purchases (40 days from the time of order for online purchases), and in the event that you surpass that time frame, so long as you have a receipt, you’re eligible for store credit. Because of this, HGTV interior designer David Bromstad once told me that one of his top tips for designing a space is to buy anything and everything that catches your eye at Home Goods, take it home, see what works, and return the rest. Genius, no?

To help kickstart your Home Goods exploration, ahead you’ll find 10 chic decor pieces under $100. That’s the beauty of the store: It offers stylish, high-quality pieces at more affordable prices.

Area rugs tend to be one of the most expensive home decor items, but not at Home Goods! Here’s one of many rugs that the home furnishing store offers. Measuring 5' x 8', this blue and tan area rug would work well for modern farmhouse, minimalist, and boho chic spaces alike. Made of polyester pile, the power-loomed rug is thin and cushioned and often gets mistaken for a Ruggable (truly — I have two runners by the same brand, both of which I got at Home Goods). One note: Due to the thin nature of the rug and the soft, smooth backing, it does slide around a bit so it’s best paired with a rug pad.

Lockers are no longer storage options reserved for schools. Nowadays, the metal cabinets help add a retro industrial-chic flair to homes, too. This army green one stands 27 inches tall and could work well as a side table or nightstand depending on the height of your sofa or bed.

Prefer a more classic side table? This wooden half-moon option looks like something you’d find at West Elm or Anthropologie. Luckily for us, the chic nightstand, which has two drawers adorned with trendy cane paneling, is considerably less expensive at Home Goods.

Floor lamps are a must in just about any space. Even if you have the best natural light, adding a floor lamp to your home can add a touch of height variation which can go a long way in balancing out a room. This adjustable brass one takes a 40-watt light bulb, so it will brighten your space without flooding it with light.

Curating a bookshelf or bar cart? Or perhaps you’re looking for a decor item to add to your office desk. In either case, this 8-inch metal chain orb will add a trendy textural element to your space. Just keep in mind that it’s on the heavier side, so you may not want to display it on any thin glass shelves, just for safety’s sake.

This Tommy Hilfiger side table has a streamlined silhouette that could work just as well in a modern farmhouse interior as it could in a coastal-inspired one. The wood table, which stands 24 inches tall, ships disassembled with hardware included, so light handiwork will be necessary upon arrival.

Sold in four colors, this three-tier storage organizer is perfect for dorm rooms, kids’ rooms, craft rooms, playroom organization, and more. The heavy-duty plastic organizers feature a woven design, so they’re more stylish than your average flimsy clear plastic drawers.

Add a luxurious touch to your vanity, closet, or living room with this geometric brushed gold stool complete with a tufted black velvet cushion. The stool is two feet wide and 14 inches deep, so it offers ample seat space for one while also serving as a chic design element in any room.
