In Spain, color is a big part of people's life. The light is warm, the colors are strong, and the people are friendly and relaxed — and Juan Carlos and Coral's Valencia home is a perfect example of this vibrant lifestyle. The house itself has bold and colorful features — such as the yellow door at the entry or the ornate tiles at the stairs — but Juan Carlos and Coral keep it simple, proving that a space can make a big statement if you just let it.
The couple's home has been in Juan Carlos' family for a very long time. The house was built in typical Valencian fashion, meaning it's separated into two spaces. On one side is the living space, which is full of bold colors, antiques, and collected family heirlooms. On the other side is Juan Carlos' work space, where he makes ceramics for his brand Domanises, which he founded a few years ago to preserve his family's story, just like his home.
