Sydney and Fabrice are a perfect example of how two people with very distinct personal styles can cultivate a harmonized and well-designed home. Fabrice is originally from France and gravitates towards more classic design while Sydney enjoys color, unique lighting and a good vintage find! When Sydney moved in a few years ago, the place was entirely different. The kitchen got a huge face-lift and a bold blue accent wall. Next came original neon lights, one-of-a-kind antique pieces and plenty of color.

The couple work in creative fields allowing them to extend their creative energies inside and outside of the home. Fabrice is an experienced director at a local advertising agency. Sydney—otherwise known as Electric Engineer Barbie—is an artist, stylist and art director. She is also the maker behind Rainbow Dream Cloud, a line of neon light creations for the home and beyond. Sydney showcases many of these creations throughout her home giving the space a personalized, psychedelic touch.

A definite highlight is the large patio that was installed last summer. It extends off of the kitchen and is the perfect set-up for entertaining friends. Surrounded by greens and away from the street, it also serves as a quiet and lush oasis in the city.
