Laura and Roberto are a couple who likes it simple. For them, “less is more” is not just a phrase, it’s the way they built their home together. They are musicians with Uke, a band that plays soft and sweet music made with heart. And they’re the owners of Sebastian Melmoth, a store in the heart of Valencia with items made from artisans and creative people, always with good design, taste and originality.
The store is the entrance for this home. Upstairs, they have all they need: A small kitchen with a nice living room to enjoy the evenings, a simple and minimal bedroom where they can relax, and a nice and well-lighted studio where they can compose and create their sweet music.
They love having a space where the light is the main character and the rest of the place had just the essential. Art and original objects found in antique shops or markets are the pieces that give shape to this wonderful home. Simplicity defines this space.
The building was built centuries ago, but the owner restored just the necessary. That’s what Laura and Roberto love about this place. The way the old atmosphere mixes and plays with the new era. Different types of floors, minimal furniture or little pieces picked with care are the essence of the house. It’s a house that reflects their personality.
