It’s been a big month for IKEA. First, the beloved Swedish furniture company debuted their 2019 catalog in stores on August 1, and now, they’ve released a slew of new products (some of which make an appearance in said catalog) that look surprisingly high-end.

Of course, IKEA’s always been on top of the trends, but for a budget retailer some of these products really took me by surprise with their luxe touches and expensive appearance. Just take a look at these five standout products to see for yourself.

Not only is the INSJÖN faucet designed to lower energy and water use, it’s incredibly stylish as well (plus the high spout makes washing large pieces a breeze). It was previously available only in a chrome finish, but the new brass option is a design-forward choice that would turn any sink into eye-candy. The white porcelain handle is just the frosting on top.

2. VADHOLMA Wine Shelf, $69/each and Drawer Unit, $89

IKEA already has a ton of products that let you personalize your kitchen design, but the new VADHOLMA collection gives you even more freedom. Inspired by old school bakeries and butcher shops, the collection features rich, rustic woods and smart, stackable pieces (like the wine shelves and drawer unit above).

3. LANDSKRONA Series, from $299

The LANDSKRONA seating series is a standout, not only for the retro, mid-century modern-inspired shapes, but for the on-trend color palette as well. Above you can see an armchair in a rich golden-brown leather, a sofa in a soft sage green, and a loveseat in a deep gray. You can also choose between metal or wooden legs to finish off the look.

Watering cans are one of those home essentials people tend to forget to buy until the really need one, resulting in a less than stylish purchase. But this white and gold can is so pretty it can double as decor and will only set you back ten bucks, so next time you’re in IKEA consider picking one up!

It’s pretty clear that IKEA is really leaning into the white and gold trend this month, and honestly I am here for it. This set of three candlesticks (all different heights) would make a fun addition to any bookshelf or mantle in need of a little glam.
