IKEA Has Coloring Pages That You Can Download for Free
During a trip to IKEA, you can expect affordable furniture, inspirational room set-ups, and, of course, delicious meatballs. But since venturing to the beloved Swedish home store isn’t an option right now, IKEA is bringing the fun to you with a free activity/coloring book that is free to print at home.
Together with agency McCann, IKEA Israel has created the pamphlet designed like the home catalog. It bears a strong resemblance to the front cover you would expect to see showcasing the latest for-sale furniture, but instead its made up of colorless outlines that allow for endless creative possibilities.
The booklet is filled with pages of room layout variations labeled with the names of the brand’s products (nice marketing strategy, IKEA!). And these activities aren’t just limited young artists but can serve as entertainment for the entire family.
Here’s their version of Tic-Tac-Toe (or as they call it, Tic-Tac-KALLAX, after thepopular storage unit).
Mazes are fun for every age, like this one above interpreting an actual IKEA delivery truck route.
And there’s much more where that came from. Kudos to IKEA for thinking outside the box and keeping their brand on the forefront while offering something useful and free in a time when parents and adults need all the entertainment resources they can get.
While the original activity book is available for download on IKEA Israel‘s website, the English version is available on blog IKEAHackers. For more activity ideas, check out our list of the best games for families, adults, couples, or really anyone.
