Brit Arnesen from @theonwardhome posted a video sharing the installation process of her new slipcover from Bemz, a company that makes slipcovers exclusively for IKEA furniture. She wrote in the comment section that she actually bought the Bemz slipcover before she purchased the HYLTARP sofa because she loved the look of the chocolate-covered linen ruffles so much.

Brit opted for the Simply Linen in Chocolate, but there are so many fabrics and patterns to choose from when shopping for your IKEA-friendly slipcover. You can also further customize the cover by opting out of ruffles or a skirt. And Bemz even offers fabric samples, so you can grab a few options and see them in your space before you make your choice.

“This cover was the reason I got this sofa in the first place. So excited,” Brit wrote in a comment on her post.

IKEA also sells slipcovers for its couches that are more affordable than the ones from Bemz. You can shop slipcovers based on which sofa you own, and choose from 10 different fabrics. Prices vary based on which slipcover fabric you choose, but all of them are priced under $350.

The gray-brown Gransel cover is most similar to the Bemz Chocolate Simply Linen cover; it’s made from a viscose-linen blend, which gives it a soft, relaxed look. And like the Bemz covers, the IKEA versions can also be easily removed and machine-washed.
