IKEA’s New Scented Hangers Will Make Your Stuffy Closet Smell Like Freshly-Cut Grass
If your closet smells musty because of that pile of dirty clothes at the back, don’t worry, IKEA has something that will make your wardrobe smell like another part of your house: the garden.
The Swedish flatpack company is selling scented hangers that seek to bring the aromas of nature into your closet. There are five scents in the collection:
ADLAD offers the “familiar experience of Scandinavian forests with spicy citrus notes,” while HEDERSAM smells like newly-cut grass and spicy herbs. JÄMLIK soothes with its warm milk and vanilla fragrance. JÄMNMOD has a summery combination of sweet peas, lilacs, and morning dew. As for STÖRTSKÖN, it will fill your room with the aroma of berries, leafy greens, and violets.
To be clear, you can’t actually hang clothing on the scented hangers, as these are more of fragrances with a hook. Still, they’re pretty neat. If you’re traveling, you can push out one of the six punched squares and insert it into an actual hanger so your clothes will always smell good.
IKEA adds: “You can also use the scented hanger in spaces like the bathroom, the walk-in closet or other rooms in the home.”
Even better is that scented hangers only costs $1.49 each. Better hurry, though; the hangers are so popular that they sold out when they were first released. Some are still available, depending on your local store’s stock.
