IKEA isn’t exactly the first place you think of when looking for wedding decor, but I’d argue that that’s actually a good thing for two reasons. First, the price is right, and there’s no “wedding upcharge” there—which is a real phenomenon and exists for everything from cake to candles and beyond with many vendors. Second, much of what IKEA sells doesn’t feel totally specific to a wedding, so you can actually use things again and again. And a lot of times, IKEA is way cheaper than renting and can be donated if you really have no need to keep anything. So I’ve been browsing the website for items I might want to use at my wedding in May, and these are 12 promising options that I’m going to check out IRL soon.

This modern geometric tea light holder is so chic, I’m buying a bunch of them for my cocktail hour centerpieces. At $6 a pop, they’re totally under budget.

Outdoor ceremony at dusk? Then you can party all night long under the stars with these solar powered paper lanterns. String them from trees or the top of a pergola if you have one at your venue.

Just a striking holder for a few pillar candles. It’d be perfect if there’s a fireplace or mantel at your venue. Or you could even use this on your escort card table.

I dare you to find a better table number holder for a dollar. Sure, something gold or silver would be fancier, but the TOLSBY will get the job done.

If you’re into the whole “let’s put out a bunch of old pictures” thing, which is very sweet, this memo board is a space-saving, modern way to do it.

A candle snuffer is a decent idea for a favor. It’s small, relatively inexpensive and pretty darn useful, if you ask me. And it’s not something everyone already has.

Do people still collect cards in birdcages? If so, this has to be one of the cheapest out there.

These twinkling LED fairy lights cost far less than I’ve ever see them. They would look gorgeous under cloches and used as centerpieces or just placed down a table like so, as if a runner.

Instead of renting a bunch of wine glasses for your wedding, just buy them from IKEA. It’s probably cheaper in the long run, and at the end, you can save a few and donate the rest to Goodwill. Plus, it’s no biggie if a few break.

Cute candy favors? You need these jars to make them Pinterest-worthy. Just add a bow or a cute label.

For an easy vintage vibe, fill a bunch of these up with cut flowers and cluster them at the center of your tables.

This looks like a kissing ball, and I can think of no better occasion than a wedding for one of those. Just add some ribbon and hang a few of these guys, maybe from rustic chandeliers or in a door opening?
