Tell us a little (or a lot) about your home and the people who live there: I’ve lived in this 1950s brick townhouse for the past 19 years. I’ve renovated much of the space myself (definitely a labor of love). It’s my tiny haven.

Recently, my adult son moved back home to attend nursing school. We are getting a puppy in August. A Shih Tzu named Primo. We are very excited. He is our first puppy.

Everything in my home has been designed by me. I also paint and only collect vintage furniture. It gives the space a lot of depth and soul.

Describe your home’s style in 5 words or less: Eclectic, bohemian, mid-century, and California modern

What is your favorite room and why? My favorite room is the kitchen/living room. It was such an awkward space prior to the renovation, but now it flows, and it is where we spend most of our time.

What’s the last thing you bought (or found!) for your home? I did a mini redo in my kitchen during COVID-19, and I added old barn wood shelves and placed some of my favorite vintage items on them. It gives the kitchen a warm and inviting feel.

Any advice for creating a home you love? Take your time. Ignore trends, and choose things you love that have meaning. Your style will shine and last a lifetime. But that’s not to say your style can’t change because mine definitely has over the past 19 years!
