This gorgeous and swanky townhouse on Charles Street in the West Village happens to have a Hollywood connection. Can you guess? (Okay, it was previously owned by Hilary Swank.)

Just down the road from Bon Jovi’s $17 million duplex, 33 Charles might not have posh amenities and celebrity neighbors, but it does have a little bit more West Village charm.

The townhouse dates back to the turn of the 20th century, and has been thoughtfully restored and updated, “including [a] new kitchen with gas fireplace, new baths, central air, and new windows throughout,” while mixing “much of the lovely original woodwork with very modern touches.”

Swank and then husband Chad Lowe bought the property for $3.9 million in 2002, and then sold it post breakup in 2007 for $7.05 million, according to the New York Post.

The home has 3,336 square feet, three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms spread across four levels (not including the basement with laundry, storage, and systems). In terms of outdoor space, there’s a sizable garden in the back, a smaller one in the front, and a terrace off the library on the parlor level.

The garden level kitchen is built for those who love to entertain (or have a family of football players), with a 6 burner Wolf cook top, two ovens, a 55-inch wide Subzero fridge with double doors and two additional freezer drawers, plus two additional refrigerator drawers and two Bosch dishwashers.

The second floor master suite has a front facing window seat with built in storage, master bathroom with soaking tub, and a walk in closet that “can double as a nursery or home office.” The third floor has the other two bedrooms, a den, bathroom, and wet bar.

The property is currently listed with Corcoran for $11.995 million.
