Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee this year, marking 70 years of service. If you’re planning on heading across the pond for a trip to London, why not honor the occasion with a stay that’s rich in royal history?

InterContinental London Park Lane, a five-star hotel in the heart of Mayfair, is located on the site of 145 Piccadilly, Queen Elizabeth II’s former childhood residence. Timeless design and modern luxury intertwine to offer a property that incorporates signature styles from Her Majesty’s early life through to the present.

“Historical accounts recall a white terraced building, indistinguishable from those on either side of it. There was a semi-basement kitchen, ‘like the giant’s kitchen in a pantomime with its immense shiny copper pots and great fire-range,” the website reads. “An extensive garden at the back, shared with other houses, added an element of community. Elizabeth lived in a suite of rooms at the top of the house, consisting of a day nursery, a night nursery and a bathroom linked by a landing, with wide windows looking down on the park.”

Guests are able to enjoy a specially curated immersive Royal Experience in celebration of the momentous Jubilee. The package is a mix of quintessentially British experiences and relaxing moments enhanced by the hotel’s royal connections.

The package begins with a visit to a royal heritage jeweler for private behind the scenes tour. Guests will learn about famous royal commissions and the most popular pieces. An etiquette masterclass is next on the agenda, with insights from a royal historian. Passing by iconic London landmarks and shooting locations from Netflix’s “The Crown”, guests will also be chauffeured around the city in a classic Daimler once owned by the Queen Mother.

There’s the option to upgrade to stay in the elegant Royal Suite & by Appointment Collection rooms that overlook the lush greenery of the Royal Parks—you now even have a picnic in the Buckingham Palace gardens. The Royal Experience can also be tailored to include a private visit to Kensington Palace, Hampton Court Palace, a walking tour of Royal Warrant Holders, a session with a Royal Photographer, and much more.

Additional Jubilee-themed experiences include a Royal Cocktail Collection that has been inspired by works of art from the Royal Palace and beyond and a Jubilee-inspired afternoon tea.
