Jean Stoffer’s Cloth & Company Collab Has the “Prettiest” Cottagecore Vibes
You probably know designer Jean Stoffer from her Magnolia network television show, The Established Home, where she tackles all sorts of renovations and decorating projects, from old houses to new builds. But she’s also the owner of Stoffer Home, a brick-and-mortar store with a cafe in her adopted hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan.
While she got her start in kitchen design and has her own collection of cabinetry, Stoffer just announced her first line of upholstered furniture, and it’s a cottagecore dream (think: fringe, toile, and ruffled skirted pieces for nearly every room of the house).
With 12 different furniture silhouettes available, Stoffer Home Crafted By Cloth & Company features large anchor pieces, like beds, banquettes, and settees, alongside smaller-scale occasional pieces, including swivel chairs, dining chairs, ottomans, and settees. Stoffer and her design partner (her daughter, Grace) worked with the Cloth & Company team to home in on classic patterns that speak to their traditional-meets-modern aesthetic.
You’ll find three charming prints in multiple neutral but warm colorways to choose from — a bird toile, a ticking stripe, and the prettiest floral design — along with a selection of solid linen and velvet options that reinforce the largely cream, taupe, and gray palette. Each of the patterns is digitally printed on 100% Made in the USA cotton on demand and ships in just a few weeks.
Did I mention the trimming and details? That’s where the cottagecore charm really shines through. Certain pieces feature accents like bullion fringe and sweet ruffles, although the lack of tufted backs and seats, on the whole, keeps the offerings looking fresh and modern.
So you can get a better sense of the line’s individual pieces, I rounded up my four favorite items. The collection is available to shop now at Stoffer Home.
