Jenna Fischer Just Gave a Peek Into Her Home Office
When you hear “Jenna Fischer’s office,” your mind probably goes to Pam Beasley’s desk at Dunder Mifflin. But the real Jenna Fischer has a home office that’s nothing like her spot in Scranton — it’s much cuter and filled with her personality.
Fischer shared a photo of her home office on May 6 as part of her participation in #OneDayMay, a month-long Instagram challenge hosted by Laura Tremaine. The prompt that day was “My favorite place to be,” which Fischer explained is “…At my desk at 9 am on a Monday morning with a hot cup of coffee.”
“After busy weekends filled with family activities and sports, I love the quiet solitude of my office on a Monday morning,” she wrote in the caption of her post. “I also love my work. Getting to dig into my creative and entrepreneurial brain makes me happy. The only thing missing from this photo is @mrsonnycat sitting in the window.”
Fischer added, “And thank you @bethhelmstetter for helping me design my perfect office space! (She really wanted me to get a nicer desk chair but I’m attached to this old standard roller one.)”
Fischer’s home office is super simple and filled with things that bring her joy. Her desk is situated in front of a window, allowing her to get some natural lighting on her workspace, and her shelving units are packed to the brim with good reads, office supplies, and trinkets.
In fact, many fans pointed in the comments out how envious they are of those super-deep shelves, and Fischer disclosed that they’re actually from Anthropologie. They’re so deep that, with a bit of hacking, Fischer was able to fit her giant printer in one of them.
With just a few pieces of furniture and a lot of meaningful decorations, Fischer has formed her home office into exactly what it should be — a place that inspires her to expand her mind and create.
