Name: Jennie Cain
Location: Athens, Georgia

My home is in Athens, Georgia and is 900 square feet. It is a small brick house on one level with an attic. I chose to live here because it is a home built in the 1930s and is in the Athens “Normaltown” neighborhood. It is also very close to a park.

My inspiration are Wes Anderson films, vintage decor books and bright, poppy colors. Bright colors rock my world! I do a lot of DIY projects around the house and I love mixing vintage items with modern items in my home. I really love mod decor and Mid-century modern items

My husband and I have been collecting vintage for years and we pull items from thrift shops, trade sites, Craigslist, yard sales and estate sales.

I am a blogger and I run a vintage shop on Etsy called Viva Wild Vintage named after my 5-month-old daughter, Viva Wilde Cain.

My favorite room is my daughter Viva’s room followed by the living room.

Thanks, Jennie!
