We love the relaxed, garden-filled neighborhood of Carroll Gardens. We were lucky to find this 1.5 bedroom apartment with a little garden. We kept the decor minimal, because we wanted to give the prewar architecture and its unique details to have room to breathe.

The den also functions as Jesse’s home studio. The best part of living here is that everyone in our building is young and creative, everyone has dogs and our sister-in-law’s family lives on the same street.
