Location: Portage Park — Chicago, Illinois

My husband, two feline companions and I live in a spacious, open concept apartment on Chicago’s Northwest Side (Portage Park) The apartment is roughly 1100 square feet and is one of two units in a vintage brick building. It’s a cozy apartment with lots of day light and a funky angular layout.

I am currently wrapping up my degree in interior design and love to work with patterns and textures. I love all design styles but mostly eclectic with thrifted furniture items and art. My favorite room in the house is the living room because that’s where we spend the most time watching tv or curling up with a book. I am proud of doing a lot of the DIY elements in the home like the chevron wallpaper and artwork.
