A few years ago, I quit my old job and back to school to become interior architect. I was 30, people thought I was crazy, but when I found this old apartment from sixties I started to imagine how many things we could do in there and how I would love to work in a design job! Dreams can come true!

It’s a 82 square meter apartment near historic center, with 2 rooms and a 14 square meter balcony. Ok, It’s not a dream house with a big garden and a dog, but is our cozy home made with love and many interior ideas!

We had to change almost everything, but I saw the potential of this project. It was a spacious and luminous place, with a beautiful vintage “granite” floor. But it was old and sad. I started the makeover by opening up the kitchen, but not completely. My husband is an Italian-French-Brazilian cook and he loves to cook great things and make a big mess. So I had to find a solution to have a partially separate kitchen.

I love vintage and we go to flea markets around the world in our travels to find special objects to adopt. We have a big bedroom and my old workspace become a nursery to our little girl Valentina. A special place with a DIY floating shelf personalized for her!

Our home is a mix of Nordic inspiration with Brazilian touch and colors from our trips everywhere. Some DIY, a lot of second hand objects and design stuff.
I’m always changing something. Small ideas, big changes!
