Everything About This House For Sale Is “Jurassic Park”-Themed — And Yes, There Are Dinosaurs on the Property
If the “real” Jurassic Park was going to build and open an Airbnb on the island, then this property in Washougal, Washington would be the blueprint. Designed to look like a building within the wildlife park gone wrong, this short-term rental property (and all the dinosaurs that come with it) can be yours for just under $1.3 million.
Shared on the Zillow Gone Wild Instagram page, Jurassic Retreat is a 2,200-square-foot property located on just two acres of land in southern Washington — just over the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon.
The property can sleep up to 10 people and already has a huge rental following, according to the Zillow listing, and it’s gaining even more attention now that it’s hit the internet.
“‘They were so preoccupied with whether they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should,’” one person commented on the Zillow Gone Wild post. Another added, “The doorbell better be the theme song.”
Not only does the house come with several “life-size motion-controlled dinosaurs,” including a T-Rex and those dreaded Velociraptors, as well as a very convincing T-Rex skull hanging in the entryway, but the property also comes with a hot tub, a vintage Jeep CJ, and all the furniture that’s currently inside.
It’s basically move-in (or rental) ready. Just make sure to get there before the dinosaurs break in and destroy the place.
However, there is one thing that’s missing from this place that could make it or break it for many potential buyers. “Why would anyone want this if it didn’t come with Jeff Goldblum?” one commenter asked on Instagram. True. So very true.
The property has only been on the market for five days, but it’s been viewed on Zillow over 100,000 times. So if you’re looking for an unforgettable income property, you may want to sink your teeth into this one (and fast).
