Justin Bieber Has a Sauna on His Tour Bus — Peek Inside

If you dream of having a sauna installed in your home, be ready to envy. Justin Bieber. The pop star happens to have a sauna in his tour bus.

Bieber welcomed GQ into his home-away-from-home bus on April 13 to show his fans just how tricked out his ride is. There’s a faux fireplace, a massive bed and flatscreen situation, several areas for clothes storage, and a bathroom complete with double sinks, a steam shower, and, yes, the sauna.

“And here is an infrared sauna, which is my favorite,” Bieber said of the setup. “What’s so cool about this is, when I’m on tour, I gotta make sure that I keep my body on optimal level because there’s so much that goes into touring, and it’s really hard on your body… With that being said, you just gotta make sure you’re taking precautions necessary so that you keep your body in shape. So that’s why saunas are very good.”

An infrared sauna is not a traditional steam sauna that heats the air around you. Rather, these saunas use infrared lamps (electromagnetic radiation) to warm your body. These saunas operate at a lower temperature in comparison to standard saunas, with about 80 percent of the heat given off being directed at the body rather than surrounding air.

While infrared saunas require more studies to confirm specific health benefits, the relaxation they provide is worth it alone. So thanks, Justin — the envy is real.
